Cameron Eggers Headshot ASL.jpg

Cameron Lucas Eggers (ASL Impact Director) is an artist to his core, profoundly inspired by the expressive power and poetic beauty of American Sign Language. A professional ASL interpreter, actor, dancer and singer, Cameron lives at the intersection of language and movement, where art breathes life into shared human experiences. His debut with Order Chaos Theatre Company as James Leeds in Children of a Lesser God marked a milestone in a lifelong journey fueled by passion, dedication, and a love for creativity. Now serving as the OCTC ASL Impact Internship Program Director, Cameron is thrilled to continue performing while fostering connections that transcend the stage. He believes that theater, music, and art are catalysts for building vibrant communities rooted in camaraderie, trust, and inclusivity. “As artists, we carry a shared responsibility. Collaboration is the heartbeat of the creative process—it binds us, elevates us, and reminds us that what we create together is always greater than ourselves.”

Del-Afton Preston is a recent graduate of the American Sign Language Interpreter Training Program at Coconino Community College, bringing 15 years of experience interpreting within the Deaf community and 18 years of involvement in theater. Her career in interpreting began at the age of 14, inspired by her connection with a Deaf friend in high school, which sparked her passion for advocacy and providing accessibility. With a profound appreciation for both theater and ASL, Del seamlessly merges these two disciplines, committed to giving back to the communities she values. She returns to OCTC after her Impact program debut in ‘night Mother.

Darian Gerow Headshot (1).HEIC

Darian Gerow, a graduate of Phoenix College’s Interpreter Preparation program, has his theatrical interpreting debut with Order Chaos theatre company, though he is no stranger to the arts. Over 20 years of passion and varied musical and theatrical experiences have brought Darian to add performance interpreting to his repertoire. Darian aspires to grow from this theatrical experience and incorporate this new knowledge into other productions and stagecraft to provide access and enjoyment of the arts for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, as the arts were so vital to him.

Order Chaos Theatre Company is excited to introduce ASL Night!

As part of our mission to ensure inclusion and representation, we are proud to offer one ASL Night event for each show in our season.

Each ASL Night features a collaboration between experienced theatrical interpreters and students from the ASL Interpreting profession, who will rehearse and perform together.

Through our OCTC ASL Interpreting Internship Program,

we aim to create a supportive and artistic environment where everyone can learn and grow.

After the performance, join us for a brief meet-and-greet with the cast and ASL team.

OCTC ASL Night performances feature American Sign Language interpretation provided by a skilled professional interpreter working alongside ASL interpreting students.

This initiative makes our productions accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences while offering valuable real-world experience for aspiring interpreters.

By attending these performances, you support our mission to improve accessibility and representation in the arts.
